Open Science Day @Charité

The Charité BUA Ambassadors invite you to the Open Science Day on June 20, 2025 at the Charité Campus Mitte.

The Open Science Day starts on June 20, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the CCM, Virchowweg 24, and offers workshops, lectures and the opportunity to get to know each other better and network at an informal get-together from 3:45 p.m. onwards.

One highlight is definitely the “pre-registration hands-on” workshop for anyone who has long wanted to know whether this is something for them and how best to go about it. Other workshops will deal with the topics of “Transdisciplinary Research and Active Patient Engagement”, “Open Access Basics, Open Licensing, Predatory Practices” and “Peer Review”.

The lectures starting at 1:00 p.m. will focus on “Open Data”, “Data anonymization” and “Data Protection”. The scientific part of the event will be concluded by the keynote lecture by Prof. Fernanda Belgel, UnCuyo-Mendoza Argentina, about „Inclusive Open Science in an Unequal World“.

More details about the Open Science Day can be found on the website of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA)  and in the attached flyer.
