This one-week course (13.-17.03.2023) is aimed at doctoral students from all universities and introduces current developments in this field along the 3R principles of "Replacement, Reduction, Refinement". An overview of innovative research approaches and measures for the welfare of laboratory animals is provided and ethical aspects are discussed (workload: 2.5 ECTS-CP).
The introductory lectures and seminars on ethical aspects can also be taken as a separate course. Workload: 0.5 ECTS-CP.
