The first-ever European Animal Research Association (EARA) Conference will celebrate its 10th anniversary bringing together EARA members, the wider biomedical community and science communicators to shape the future of animal research communication.
Now that many countries worldwide are embracing openness and transparency in animal research, our conference will explore the next steps to improve the sector’s approach to communication with the public and develop its understanding of this important topic.

EARA invites abstract submissions from researchers, communication professionals, and institutions involved in animal research, science communication and science media. Submissions, though not required, are encouraged to align with the conference's core themes:
- Stream 1: Transparency and Openness in Animal Research
- Stream 2: Effective Science Communication and Media
- Stream 3: Legal Frameworks on Welfare and their Communication
