The Einstein Center 3R General Assembly held elections for the Steering Committee on August 13. The previous members of the Steering Committee were confirmed in office.
One representative was elected for each of the eight participating institutions and one for the area of cross-sectional projects. All members of the Steering Committee were confirmed by the elections:

- HU Berlin: Michael Brecht
- TU Berlin: Jens Kurreck
- BIH@Charité: Ulrich Dirnagl
- MDC: Michael Gotthardt
