Insight into the EC3R lab | "Intestinal organoids"
The project by Prof Dr Michael Sigal (Charité), Prof Dr Britta Siegmund (Charité) and Prof Jens Kurreck (TU Berlin) is investigating specific parameters that influence the formation and growth of gastric and intestinal organoids. When stromal cells and epithelial cells come together, they organise themselves into so-called crypts under certain conditions.
