Mina Gouti, head of the “Stem Cell Modeling of Development and Disease” research group at the Max Delbrück Center and a researcher at the Einstein-Zentrum 3R, has been appointed W3 Professor of Complex Organoid Models in Personalized Medicine at Charité. The tenured professorship recognizes her contribution to the development of advanced organoid systems, which she uses to investigate how certain spinal cord neurons and skeletal muscle cells form spatially and temporally during development. The appointment strengthens her pioneering research on organoids and deepens collaboration with clinicians to further advance personalized medicine together.
