Review of the British Parliamentary Debate | "Future without animal testing - wish and reality"

On November 5, as part of Berlin Science Week, the Einstein Center 3R, together with the Einstein Foundation and Charité 3R, hosted a public debate on the future of animal testing in the lecture hall ruins at Charité. Led by the moderation team Dr. Susann Schädlich and Dr. Michael Stamm and factually supported by contributions from the invited experts from research, animal welfare and authorities, a lively discussion developed. The specific format of the “House of Commons debate” contributed to the success of the evening, in which the participants were not only kept on the move mentally, but also physically: depending on their opinion on the theses presented, they changed their seats and took their place on the “yes” or “no” side.
