As part of the Berlin-Brandenburg research platform BB3R and in collaboration with the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin) and the Berlin Einstein Center 3R (EC3R), the 3R online seminar series "Alternatives to animal use in research and education - Refine, Reduce & Replace" will take place again this year.
On 16.11.2026 at 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. the topic will be “3R Culture of Care/ Ethics of in-silico Models”.
Dr. Sonja Rumpel will give a lecture entitled “More Alike Than We Think? - Psychological Stress across Professions in a Laboratory Setting”.
Fabio Sciascia, M. A. will speak on “AI as an Alternative to Animal Testing – Is It really an “Ethical” Alternative?”.
